Hillary Clements resides in the beautiful Hudson Valley of New York, she was raised in NYC and has lived most of her life in the Mountains of Oregon. Compelled to see the world and immerse herself into nature over the last 25 years, Hillary has taken her camera through the wilderness, under the water and above the clouds.
Earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in photography with a minor in Zoology she started her career working for local, national and global nonprofit environmental organizations on issues surrounding logging, habitat, water and wildlife. Her roots in the darkroom led her to become a custom B&W printer and a teacher of photography in order to inspire other analog, digital and mixed media photographers.
Hillary has won many awards, grants and scholarships. She has exhibited her work in solo and group exhibitions around the globe including Barcelona, Spain, Guatemala and The United States. Her work has been published in National Geographic Traveler, Time Magazine, The Washington Post, Black & White Magazine and many other print and online presentations.
